If you guys are off tomorrow should come out to KPOP and enjoy some sushi and other goodies for lunch. Work out your differences in person. Racer X clearly thinks that the Tuono is too much bike for Banky, now if that's true, only Banky can prove or disprove Racer X's claims. The beauty of this country is that we can buy whatever the we want, whenever the we want. Obvioulsy, Banky was in a financial position to purchase a rather costly bike. I believe anyone that walks into a dealership, especially HSBK and can buy one of their bikes has to have some level of maturity and responsibility. Racer X hit in on the head in one of his earlier posts, it's his big boy money and his big boy toy, so let the guy enjoy his new toy. If Banky wants to ride it like a puss; then that's his decision to make. If Racer X feels that Banky is not worthy to ride such a bike, then that is something totally different. Not trying to put words in anyone's mouth; but that's what i am getting. Give the guy some advice on the bike, tell him what to watch out for. Help him out instead of making him feel like he doesn't deserve to ride such a bike. Racer X is in a position to help this guy out since he has hands-on knowledge of the bike and he is local.

You certainly may not! Did you ever figure out what error code your Duc was spitting out that day at MSR after the parade lap?

Yeah, this crappy corn gas reaks havoc on our fine machines. Stabilizer is very important.

Unless I get a dedicated beater for a track bike, I don't think I would track the KTM. Crashing my expensive bike on the track would always be in the back of my mind. I don't want to get on that track and ride scared, not the best frame of mind to be in.

PC2, not only is the KTM a lot of dol', it also has a lot of go. Too much really for a track noob. That's why I have my beat-up old gixxer 600. The darn thing has been sitting in the corner of my garage for the whole year waiting for a TD. But it's cheap, and it has just enough power and extended ROM range to make it easy/fun to ride for a novice, but generally not enough to get me in trouble.

BTW, if you ever run for office, I'll vote for ya! You play the politics well.

Since you have RC8 experience you could always "borrow" Ty Howards Track RC8, always cheaper trashing someone else's ride.......

or get a R6/GSXR6/ the usual suspects.....

Congrats on the new Tuono, friend. Just to let you know, not everyone with an Aprilia less valuable than yours has to hate on you.

It's a shame to see Tuono on Tuono crime. Come ride with your little brother here sometime. I'm never going to be elite like Racer X, but I have mastered fueling up the bike.

Haters gonna hate. Enjoy your new bike.

Congrats on the purchase and great review!

I really considered picking up an Aprilia recently, but ended up going with a Triumph Daytona 675R. In the end it was an economic decision, but I have no doubt that I'll own an Aprilia sometime in the future.

Cheers bro enjoy your new ride!

Nice meeting you Sunday, and the look on your face when I introduced myself as RacerX was priceless.
