this is very true. i once dated a guy that was in and out of the hospital every other week for kidney failure (stupid druggie) and he would always just nonchalantly throw the hospital bills in the trash when they came in. he has over 200k in debt for ER visits ALONE. and you wonder why we get charged $60 for an aspirin when we go for a TRUE emergency visit!
