Ive taken my DRZ400SM to GSS and MSRH....GSS is obviously the best but they are not doing motorcycle trackdays there anymore....

MSRH isnt too bad as long as your gearing is right....I plan on taking my XR650R tard there this year....

Just so you understand how things work 'round here: most of the tracks don't host their own trackdays. Trackday companies, that are independent, rent the tracks and run the trackdays. So you need to find out which trackday company rents leathers. To my knowledge, ridesmart is the only company that does. And they usually do MSRH and MSRC at some point.

Fastline is actually trying to get some days there this year. Also the owner of GSS also has days there he runs himself.

I think most org will help find you some loaner gear. If not you can always post up on the board that you want to borrow some leathers or anything else you need. A lot of people have spair or old gear they are willing to lend.
I also think most orgs will offer your first hit at a discounted rate.

Fastline has a few sets of leathers they will loan out. Ridesmart does 50% off and free leather rental for your first time riding with them. I'll probably take them up on that sometime this year. Pretty good deal for those of us who don't go enough to cough up $500 or more for leathers.

I run MSR-H on my WR250X at a max velocity of 95 MPH. It is an absolute blast. Same goes for the Ninja 250 with about the same top speed.

You just want to be careful that you don't over-rev a big motard. It may have the power to pull redline in top gear. If so, before doing any trackdays, buy a larger front or smaller rear sprocket to re-gear it to where it won't rev all the way out in top gear.

GSS is the best track locally, but the owner is a pain to deal with and it has been on-again, off-again with track day providers trying their best to keep the product flowing. Be wary of signing up for a GSS bike day not run by an established independent trackday organization. These are fictitious events and often cancelled when head count is low. To the best of my knowledge only Fastline (born from the ashes of Groove Union, who grew out of Texas Track Days, both did GSS days) and Whoopies have put on successful events there.

MSR-H is fine if you are OK with getting passed in the straights. 3 organizations run there.

Cresson 1.3 is great fun, incredible motard / mini track, but I think it is hard to run a trackday on the smaller of the two tracks. Not sure who does days up there.

Even TWS (Texas World Speedway) is fun with a 100 MPH top speed. I ran my DRZ400SM out there in intermediate and was able to keep pace with the slower SV650's and 600's. Again, you'll get passed repeatedly on the main straight, but the rest of the track is a hoot.

All trackday organizations have first time rider deals, free leathers and gear, transportation for bikes, etc.....just ask.
