I am sure you are enjoying the modern technology, power and weight loss compared to your previous bike. Congrats and that is a great looking bike..

Good. Now, stop wearing women's underwear.

Gorgeous bike. I'll have to check it out when the weather cooperates.

Congrats! I was just at Mancuso SW scoping out the blue one. I like it better than the RT, which is what Triumph benchmarked the Trophy on. I only wish they would bring the non-SE version stateside too. I have no need for the stereo while I'm riding. I wear earplugs.

Glad to see more ST riders on MH.

Its more powerful than the RT. On par with the K16 really. More nimble and comfortable than both the K and the R. Lighter than the K by far.

The Non-SE version would be nice, but, I can understand why they did what they did. The SE with the adjustable WP suspension is more in line with the typical pampered American

The bike prolly could handle the weather. My old, fat lazy has no desire to wash it after a rain

Very nice, indeed!! Those are perfect for the LONG trips!! Have a buddy that lives & races out east has a slightly older fancy Triumph like this, probably the RT. He's done 1/2-cross country trips on it and had a blast.

Enjoy!! Rain or Shine!!

Since I rarely carry pillion and weight 175lbs, I seldom have to touch the setting. You're right, though, most people would probably prefer the SE bundle, so the expense of having another model is probably not worth it to Triumph.

I know the 1300 triple is more powerful than the oil-head RT, but I'm surprised to hear it is on par with K1600. Frankly, I don't even need all the power C14 has. What I could use is less weight, and I'm glad Triumph kept that in check with the Trophy.

I am curious if you test rode any other STs. Did you reference the FJR1300?
