BTW- you have every right to call me a fukup, what i did was stupid
my problem is with people who think its cool and they're superman or some and don't think about the families they could potentially tear apart... If you were simply stating "I was drunk, I wrecked, I'm super lucky to be here, I need to chill" that's one thing...maybe even commendable to some. But when I see someone braggin' about that , I tend to come a little unglued...

glad you're alright, I wish no harm to you, just don't like whatcha did... take it easy man...

I was referring to the fact that you are owning up to your actions....not everyone can do that, so I say to some it is commendable. Not your actions, but your choice to own it.

You should have been hauled in and the truck towed. The lessons learned by going through the ordeal would teach you more than a cop sending you home because she was busy.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

Oh - and if that's a work truck that is owned by your employer - are you fessing up to your boss too?

I agree but I have to disagree. If he learned his lesson he is a lucky sob to not have been hauled off esp in TX. Dui's dwi's etc... are very expensive and cause a world of pain for many years trust me I know:eh: . Consider this a sign my friend as you will not get many more if any at all

And such is the purpose for the "inconvenience". It acts as a deterrent (for some, clearly not for all) to refrain from doing it again, if ever.

how about NOT putting mind-altering substances in your blood stream while you operate a 2k lb vehicle
