So Blake, was the runoff thick, bumpy, wet? Obviously you were going pretty fast to be running off but I was pullin for ya watching the video thinking you would have been able to hold the rear brake and keep it up.
It was a swamp out there.

Did the first rider that crashed lock up the rear tire or did the right peg hit or both?

Yep, I think he tried to do a skid.

Back tire lost traction in the seam if the asphault, I was running warmers. I had already completed 5 laps when that happened. Green track, seam + Pirelli super pros ( very hard tire) = that wreck. If I had been off the bike more with less lean angle it probably would not have happened.

When I was sliding and got nicked by Blake, I thought I was in the middle of the track still. With people going around me, my visor got ripped off when I launched. It was a night crash, cause my eyes were shut tight.

Interesting, I hadn't realized that before. I wonder if the RPHA-10 centerlock design would have prevented that? (I just bought one... I hope to never find out!!)

I was launched through the bikes wind screen, that broke the part on the helmet where the visor attaches and rotates on the side.

I hope you don't either, anyone for that matter. Very brutal ride. I remember landing in front of the bike thinking " I just wrecked the team bike", then " I am gonna get run over by the team bike".
