Carbon Fiber

Im about to order a bunch of carbon fiber fairings for the bike. They are GREAT quality and the piece I got as a trial from them fit up without any problem. They are pretty expensive so im asking for advice on the price.

The parts on the list are:

Tank Cowl
Both side tank fairings (Upper and Lower)
Both Mid Side fairings
Both Ram Air covers
Both side Tail Fairings

The Total: $645

Where are you getting these at? Price seems good to me considering them being carbon fiber but thats my opinion.

Sounds pretty good to me. As long as its not super thin i would do it. I was looking into it for the triumph and just the side fairings alone were 4-500

Sounds almost like MDI prices. Maybe even TwillTech. Being that low, it could be carbon over fiberglass backing. Definitely not Magical Racing or Cleverwolf. The side panels alone would cost that much from those places.

It is TwillTech! The carbon fiber tire hugger I got from them was Carbon all the way around, even on the bottom. Fit perfectly and looks great!

Be careful with some of those places. TwillTech has gotten some bad press from other forums for customer service. MDI seems to have stepped up their game so I might give them a try again cause they do matte finish carbon pieces. I personally like Magical Racing rear huggers. They're pricey but look amazing. CarbonTech (sold through motomummy) will make pieces in different color weave.

Well Maybe since the bad press they got they fixed that problem because they have promptly responded to all my messages and answered all my questions. They combined shipping cost and even gave me a pretty good discount on the overall price. The price it would have cost me for all these pieces was over $800 including shipping. We now have come to a price of $550+ $48.50 for shipping. Total price out the door is $598.50!

Yeah, there was talks of being under new management when a lot of the bad press started to surface. It's good they got their act together. It's hard enough to find CF as it is. Lots of high end places only make certain parts but it become impossible to find those certain pieces that complete the job. I have a tail piece from Dynomite out of the UK. Unfortunately, they got out of the CF business.
