Opinons - Micron Slip On - 06 R6

What are you guy's opinions and/or experiences with Micron as a company and their Slip on for the 06 R6?

I mainly just want it for the look and sound. Probably won't be getting a PC3, just looking for opinions about the company and this particular product of their's - feel free to vent & complain.

whoa. when did you pick up the R6? Micron looks ok IMO. i haven't heard it either.

The one i been keeping my eye is the Termignoni they look nice. Akrapovic sounds good and looks great too. Race Fit Looks just like the Termignoni but its $800 for a slip on. It does sound really nice, shoot it better for $800!

last but not least Graves are nice too. good luck on whichever you choose!

Billy Lee had a full Micron system on his 06 R6 with that muffler on it and it sounded BADASS. Sounded more like a V8 car than a bike. But a slip-on by itself on an 06 R6 won't make a huge difference in sound (because of the huge exhaust can under the bike).

IMO, don't waste money on a slip-on for an '06 R6. Save the money for a full system.

I haven't had the best of experiences with Micron; spotty quality / fit / finish, and an unwillingness by the Mfr. to stand behind the product.

My 2 cents, YMMV

Micron on that bike is boo boo.... But the Micron I had on my 04 sounded sweet. I would get the Graves or Akra for the 06.

Micron blows!

A guy i know had it, sounded nasty and didnt fit worth a f***. Not only that, it was ugly!

Get an Akra! Sounds great and performs just as well but its a good chunk of change! I ran yoshi on my GSXR and did my research when i was looking for an exhaust for my 636. I decided to shell out the dough to get a full akra system and i dont regret it one bit! I love it! :icon_bigg
