Just cover your plate with your foot and ride as fast as you can past the cameras. You'll be alright.

tell them its for a motorcycle.

The flat sticker EZ Tag was designed specifically for cars, on the windshield cause there is nothing blocking the signal.

The box puts out the signal more than the Sticker, so putting it in the Tail / Jacket / Saddlebags should not cause any issues. If it does the monitoring station should run the plate # and see that the bike was registered with a tag.

I have 2 bikes, and if I plan on keeping the tag on the jacket, do I still need to register for both of the vehicle?

I would cause if it doesn't read then they take your plates and if the plates isn't registered you pay fines.

I lost my dealer eztag the other weekend while on my bike and they tried to charge me up and when I went to register the bike they are all out of bike eztags.

That has happened to me before in my car when I had the brick in my backpack . Was sooo . Pulled up and was looking for change to throw in and as I threw the money looked up and the gate was opening. Took me a few minutes to figure out what happened, paid twice for that one (confirmed on the toll road account lol.

Now I leave my eztag in the tool bag. It never reads when I go through but will show up a few days later on the account after the picture is reviewed or whatever. I couldn't care less if the eztag can be read when going through a lane, my concern is getting messed with by the cops because they have pulled me over JUST to see if I had an account, they ran the numbers and made sure it was active etc etc. bull

I got the sticker. I called them and told them, and they don't seem to care. Input it in the trunk, in the ziplock bag that has my other papers. It doesn't read all te time. Oh we'll.

Yes. They tie the plate number to the ez tag. You can not just get one ez tag and go between vehicles. wish you could.

Pretty good faq, including the answer that grsa gave.

https://www.hctra.org/about_faq/ez-tags

Can a single EZ TAG be used in more than one vehicle?
No. Just as your license plate is unique to your vehicle, your EZ TAG is unique to your license plate.

The EZ TAG Agreement for your Harris County Toll Road Authority EZ TAG Account requires you to update your information if you change vehicles and/or license plates. Keeping your account information updated and maintaining your EZ TAG Account balance will ensure your EZ TAG continues to function properly - keeping you from receiving Toll Violation Invoices, which you could incur if your vehicle travels on the toll road system without being properly registered with an EZ TAG Account.

Have a brick tag as well. Have mine under my seat towards the tail. Have never had a problem with them not being able to read it (knock on wood) from what I've heard, if they can't scan your ez tag then they scan your license plate to get your ez tag info...

I had one in my front jacket pocket, and when I went down guess where my rib got broken?

No more bulky things in pockets. Keep it somewhere else.
