we have a laser etcher at my job, and i found out it cuts natural materials like wood, leather (Cardboard which is what its primarily used for to make hardscape mock-ups) but yeah, i just bought some scrap leather offline and started fooling around.

he just patched and i thought a name badge with his club on it would be a nice present.

like in vinyl or on a patch? i couldnt see it looking all that great on a patch, but on a vinyl (possibly sticker) it could look good. it would be an outline of all though.

Yeah, from what i understand the CAD drawings will work on CNC machines and other "similar" type machines, i'd loooooove to get my hands on a machine that will make metal/aluminum parts and what not, talk about able to make your own parts!
