A cracked frame will total any bike.

My advice? Stunters crack their frames fairly frequently. find a good shop and get a quote, or find a welder THAT HAS WELDED frames before, and talk to him. it wont affect you at all, unless you intend to be a one wheel hero.

Were you turning right or swerving back to the right after making a left? If so, there is a good possibility the front washed out because you left that sticker on there. Is there a sticker on the rear as well?

Seriously, I'd rethink Solracer's ride to Austin

should have dragged your knee through the corner while doing a wheelie

nah, but glad youre good man and dont worry about it just practice counter steering, and learn from the mistake. you can take the advance msf class idk how much that'll help. I dont consider myself a experience rider but I know the basics pretty well, so if you ever want some help on like counter steering, what not to do in basic turns around neighborhoods and what not then hit me up... I'll be doing my first track day on saturday so im sure i'll pick some good info up there I can pass on to you.

Just practice using the bars to steer the bike, period.

LOLOL.

on another note, learn from the mistakes get her fixed back up and jump back on without the nervous jitters those will hurt ya. I'd practice more around and you can always take the course again if you would like to, im sure they discount the price as well if your a returning customer just to learn more in full. Awesome Cycles is a pretty good place and always helpful.

Nesto,

It is refreshing to read your mature story. Thanks for that. Good job on wearing gear. Analyze the crash, and learn. Then, ride again.

Guess which side that sticker is on!!!

That frame damage is bad, but I would just ride that bike instead of trying to spend too much money fixing it. Get it up running and ride low speed around the neighborhood. Probably shouldn't be flying down I-10 with it obviously...

And take that sticker off!!!

WRONG.

Ummmmmmm........ I go thru tires like crazy and I always leave the stickers on them. So do many other racers/track riders. Have done this when I use to ride the street as well.

Adding stickers to the tire would be ignorant. Almost as much as your comment about "dragging" knee.

Dragging knee isn't a goal for me when I go to the track. To be honest, soon as my knee touches I bring it up . Used as a guide, not cool factor bro.

Back to the point. The stickers that come on new tires will come off in the first 2-3 turns of the track. If you do a lap and come in and the sticker is still on there your obviously not pushing hard enough especially if your running the tires I run "need heat in them"

Give me some new tires and I will show you knee dragging right off the warmers with the sticker still visible...... Have you really never seen people leave stickers on and head on to the track?
