So I went down on my second ride

Well I'm an idiot for riding right now inexperienced. I was wearing all of my gear (minus knee guards) so I was fine except for scraped knees. I've been wanting to buy the knee guards for a while now but I've had unexpected expenses to come up.

I put the entire blame on my inexperience as a rider. Everyone can bash the heck out of me because I went out riding like that.

I crashed near my home, so that made things better. The bike was good enough to drive back home, but it's not good enough to go anywhere else now. The rear break is broken, the right handle bar is pretty loose, it's scratched pretty bad on the side, and maybe other small things.

I'll post pictures of the damage later.

Let the bashing begin!

ps ATGATT probably saved me here so I'm gratefull that I came on this forum.
Also I might be looking into trading it in for a Ninja 250r or CBR250r

It happens, and glad you're okay. Let this be a learning experience and be glad you had all your gear and you walked away. You could always pull 2 plugs and you'd have a 300cc bike LOL.

You learn from your mistakes and are able to admit. Hope you heal up and get your bike fixed up. Had you taken the MSF course?

Yes I have, I think that I crashed because I wasn't looking ahead at my next point correctly.

take your time. Seat time is the best experience. I'd def go out for a to a track day in the near future. Track days aren't just for going fast but learning what and how your bike does things. Level 1 would be perfect.

You don't necessarily have to have a lot of experience to get on a track. The track is a great learning environment and a whole lot safer to "learn". You have to get past the idea that it's not a race and you'll be okay.

I was turning on the street to the inside lane, got a tad on the inside of the outer lane. I wanted to get back into my lane pretty quick, maybe leaned over too much and slid. I went rolling a few times. The road also had gravel filled pot holes and some mud, plus they were new tires, so that must have been a bad combination.

Edit:
I went rolling (not the bike), and the pot hole was where the stop sign was at. I hope I didn't write it too confusing for you guys

Anyways that's how I sorta remember it.

So I went down on my second ride

Sorry to hear this, it was a real clean bike but they can be replaced, we can't, glad your ok.
You don't need a pretty bike to learn to ride, get the mechanical things fixed so it's safe to ride, and just get back out there, take your time.
