i kind of want to sell my Buell - i might have to ride over to STAR Yamaha and actually get on oneof those bikes to see if it makes me want to pull the trigger.

i think even that R6 would be an upgrade from my Buell....

Im not sure, when the rig shows up next week we will map a route out, they said 20-30 min rides to switch off. I want to tell them to leave the other bikes and just bring a fleet of R1s lol

As I understand, they are 20-30 min rides, once you get back the next person who is on the list is next. And as in a subject of it being crowded or a long wait... I dont think it will b. I just made a small printout to put on the doors of the shop, so its not like the whole town knows whats going on. The most people that have heard about it is this forum. So the mass majority will be yall.

The last time I went to one of these was 2 years ago. NO ONE was riding the sport bikes. They had to find someone to take me out on the R1. People were waiting in line for the cruisers.

lol y'all gonna elbow me at the sign up counter, huh?

Yah, the FJR is the only "new" product from the tuning forks in a long while, and it's really only partially new. They are dropping wayyy back into their own endzone to punt.

What I'm really waiting for are the triples Yamaha is cooking up. An 1100cc triple R1 sounds like quite a ride. 700cc triple R6 (or should I say R7) would be nice too. I do hope Yamaha get their way with the racing organizations. This world needs more than I4 and V2 superbikes.
