yep, one of the last couple of trackdays i did there, it was kind of odd to be riding with a group whose owner was not allowed on the property.

If the owner was willing to sell it for a reasonable price, I'd buy it. However, he wants to sell it for a price that nobody can make money off of.

Probably because he didn't, and wants all his """investments""" back.

last price he told me to ask for it was 2.75

if he would sell for .9-1.3 it might be worth it.

2.75MM / .005MM per rental= 550 track days to break even.

So if you rented it Saturday and Sunday every weekend except for, say Xmas and thanksgiving it'd take you 5 years to break even. that doesn't even account for expenses.

I would overpay just so I could build a house there, and run the track every night after work.

I wouldnt overpay THAT much, though! (as if I have $2+ million to spend).

Where is Frank? BUY IT!

Ok, so a few of those, and we take it down from a 15 year payout to a 10.

59 5 lap drives purchased at $125 each. What kind of crack are people smoking? Hmm, that's 295 laps, or 450 minutes at novice pace. This is going to be a long day.

Hah, my dads girlfriend actually bought my dad one of those groupons.

Honestly though I think he'll enjoy himself.

Gotta realize this is for people who have never been on a track and never really had someone drive really fast in a car like that.

So if you're a real speed junkie or enthusiast of course you won't be interested.
I've been out there in my lotus and it was a really fun track so I hope it remains open.
