Mishap at 99 & 59

I was on my way home from riding around (Crabb River area). The entrance ramp onto 59 where 99 intersects is pretty nasty headed north. There is a bunch of gravel and dirt right on a turn. I saw 2 guys loading a bike into a van (looked like a tow-truck type of service for bikes). It appeared that the guy was ok. Not sure about the bike though...couldnt see much. Was this anyone on here?

Watch out for that gravel at 59 & 99...second time I have seen it.

sucks, i knew it would happen sooner or later... I work on that site and the contractor is messy. It's impossible to get them to sweep the entire site without an act of congress. Hopefully the police report (if there is one) will show that it was not operator error but dirty road surface. If we(TxDot) started getting accident reports showing the cause of accidents to be dirty roads on the construction site then we could more than likely get them to clean more often. Another option is to send a letter to TxDOT in Ft.Bend or to the Houston district office complaining. Once they hear enough of the same complaint they usually do something.

Thats a nasty turn any way. Asphault is like smooth like ice. Sand and would make it horrible.

It was a guy on the red R6. I so happen to pass by in my truck, they confirm that the tow truck is on the way..
His buddie named Jason was waiting for him. They both haven't been riding long.
