1 John 1:6-8

"6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

One question... each of you can answer if you wish. Are you a fundementalist?

They've heard the truth and will have to answer for their decision. You can plant the seed, pray for their salvation, and leave it at that.

I agree. I think people should only talk to people who agree with them because no one changes their mind, and people argue for the enjoyment of it.

Nope

But to a degree, I think the Bible is the most accurate source of tangible information regarding the word of and truth...

An off topic question-
My bible knowledge is a bit rusty, but I seem to remember hearing that Jesus' blood is supposed to cover the xian's sins upon his/her being viewed by , and then they can go to . That's what I was taught...and also I think I remember hearing that before Jesus, there was no blood, so everyone went to , but once he died he went and snatched em up or whatever. That seems like a deal to me, but I just want to know if I have this right?

Well i dont believe in so that point it kinda mute but thats a different subjet and i dont want to get off track.

Honestly i wouldnt just beleive what i or anyone else just tells you. I might though direct you to some scriptures that discount there being an actuall burning place of torment. Im rusty as well so it might take a few.

Through study of the bible and also my own personal beleif that organized religion has exageratted and twisted the scriptures they use as a baisis for the doctrine.

Logic behinid it........ if no one believes in , no one is scared to die and burn(cause we all sin), no one to go to church, no one to fatten the pockets of churchs. Now thats just my own unfounded thoughts on the matter.

like i said when i have time ill try to get together some scriputes as a baisis for my thinking.

I'm pretty interested in these as well. I do appreciate though that you qualify it as your own thinking and are not forcing it down anyones throat PLUS, you are willing to back it up with text

isn't there also logic behind the criticism that perhaps , heaven, the bible(parts, at least) were made up also? to explain some sort of human phenomenon/tendency/spiritual searching, whatever you want to call it, that arises in many men and can be seen through many religions and philosophical ponderings?
people have been trying to explain life/death/the unknown for a long time, long before christianity, and long after it. it seems what makes the difference between belonging to 1 religion or another is geographic location and the past politics of the pious.
