polished rim lip on the R1

Had some scratches on the rim from tire changes and hated the red stripe in the powdercoat so i decided to wetsand and polish them turned out great!!!

Aluminum doesn't rust polish and wax every other month will keep it perfect

I put wax on it which should keep it good for a while. A little mothers aluminum polish every 2 months followed by wax should keep it from oxiding at all. Bike is stored inside and never sees the wet.

Id rather polish once in a while instead of worrying aboutmscratches when i get new tires

that does look nice but you quit polishing too soon. there is still more shiny goodness to be had on the center of the rims.
