Flexibility for racing

Does anyone do any particular stretches to help stay lose, and be able to move around the bike better? I seem to get real tight in the quads (duh) as well as in the hip flexors.

You should do allot of leg work outs now so you can be used to using those muscles

To the OP, I usually in the morning at the track before the riders meeting ill stretch without my gear on then go to riders meeting then after put my suit and boots on and stretch again. I start by sitting down and reaching for my toes, then fold one leg underneath you and lean back. Stand up and walk trying to raise each knee as high as you can "like matching lol". I do all this for about 15 minutes. I see some people that only stretch for 5iniyes and IMO that not enough but to each his own.

That's just what I do.

If you are talking about just legs, pikes (sitting and standing), butterfly, straddle (sitting and standing), hip flexors (sitting in straddle with hands between your legs, lift one leg at a time straight up as high as you can), lunge, left and right split, center split, calf stretch.

All best demonstrated in person when you pick up these starwars toys.

Hip Flexor Stretch

I don't know if you exercise regularly but it would be a good idea to strengthen those muscles. Doing squats every day over several weeks even without weights makes a big difference
