Fowler. What has happened here is that you probably did or said something to upset frank ( ride leader) and he does not feel you are welcome to his party.
So, I would suggest you respect that and just leave it at that.
Let me put it this way: he has "banned" you from HIS ride.
You are welcome to OTHER posted rides, and POST your OWN rides.
We ride leaders reserve the right to ban people from joining our future rides if we feel the rider is un safe, fails to follow simple safety rules, is intoxicated, or just a plain to hang out with.

Group rides are about FUN and sometimes safety. If you are himdering either, you may be on the banned wagon.

All because I made a simple comment saying that a few of us couldn't tell which group was what.

Looks like you will only have people you know go.

And age does not mean that someone will not be a dumbass. I have seen plenty of older people be as dumb.

Really?????Its just your ego man! Get over yourself. My guess is you have never been down. Im sure nobody would care if you were 15 or 50. Its the fact of how your presenting yourself now that is everyone off. If you acted more mature im sure nobody would care or have anything negative to say to you. No body said you did anything dangerous.

Wise decision.

For the record, I would take it as a compliment if anybody asks for my ID.

Anyhoo. Given the recent happenings, I can certainly understand why folks might want to offer constructive criticism. I haven't been doing these SMRs long enough to know the full history. Sounds like no matter how you try, there would always be those who will not follow rules - or common sense. You, as the organizer(s) can only do so much. The rest is up to the individual, which is why the 21 age rule make sense. Most rental agencies won't rent to under 21, some won't even rent to under 25, even though legal driving age is 18.

Ultimately, each rider is like a single member in an orchestra and plays his/her own part. When all the instruments follow the conductor's cues and act in unison, the product is pure music.

If you want to belt out your own aria, don't join a group ride.

Exactly

Thats why you should just not let him ride

Dont push away all 21 and under people. We were all under 21 at some point and it would be best if we show them the way. If they dont follow then tell them to find their own ride.

It was a bit more than a simple comment, but I do see where you're coming from.
The SMR's are universally known to be Frank's rides, and it's very rare that Frank will NOT welcome a rider. But it sounds like he just did.

It doesn't sound like y'all are gonna come to much of an agreement on the thread.
Please take your discussion to PM's.

I highly doubt Frank is going to ask for anyones ID on a SMR. Unless his name is Fowler
