I was wondering how you were doing. My wife and I were driving by after grocery shopping and I saw you running in the station with your legs on fire. Stopped the car and grabbed the fire extinguisher. I'm glad you will be ok and that it didn't get any worse. It could have turned into something much more deadly very quickly. My wife took a whole series of pictures including some of your bike in flames if you want them. Just glad you are safe.

Next time pants and boots might have offered a little bit more protection than shorts and sandals. - Just saying.

Wow, I'm glad you are willing to share this with us! Glad you're going to be able to recover!

This reminds me though of the guy who cleaned his chain with a rag...and a running motor. He took pictures of his newly shaped fingers while waiting for medical help, couldn't believe he thought to do that. Glad for him also sharing, since it has kept me from even considering doing that!

Fire next to a gas pump scares the dickens out of me. Fire is something that definitely deserves respect.

I was pressure testing underground lines and tanks in Tulsa a few years ago (tapped into the fuel line under the gas pump. Direct line into the tank.)

A guy drives up behind me screaming "my truck is on fire".

I laugh, then turn around. It WAS on fire. The first place the dumbass thinks to drive is to a gas pump.

I told him to get that thing away from here.

He put it in neutral, and pushed it down to the curb.

I handed him the store's extinguisher and told him "good luck".
