I rode with groups before.. I swear I did a lot better. Just got unlucky this time, just like some of them said. it was a situation I wasnt familiar with, didnt know how to handle.

SDRC is not about being fast. It's about watching out for your group. We help each other and anybody that needs help. On our ride, we put our egos our aside and respect others.

We know how fast we are, we do to need to prove to anyone or advertise.

Good point, and I know that you all do watch for each other. Something to think about is for any BORC or SDRC ride just pm whom you want to go. Noobs or people with little experience have ample opportunity to go on the Noob rides and get some additional instruction (Senator style). Noob rides with a mentor where someone with experience instructs the less experienced. Just a thought.

Sorry jimrad to return one of your SDRC member in not so good conditions....i think the SDRC should evaluate their members and give a us a listing of experienced levels
i was warned last night by Barryreynoldts by the way abouit Umayr on our rides but i think he will learn a lot from today ride and will evaluate the danger better in the future.....he is 21 and somehow you night have to go thru this......he is ok and did not complain , good attitude under pain....

that's what I'm talking about Eric.

Umayr, keep yo head up, trust me, this sport, hobby, vice, etc. is definitely worth it!!!!

Yes, that is why we have our regular SMR and the Big Boys Sunday Ride, which is by invitations only and off public forums. Bad weather and a huge gap in rider's skill will always have bad consequences.
can I go????????!!!!!!!
