Yes, that is why we have our regular SMR and the Big Boys Sunday Ride, which is by invitations only and off public forums. Bad weather and a huge gap in rider's skill will always have bad consequences.

Glad you're ok, Umar. If your bike is ride-able and only cosmetics, may I suggest attempting a track day on it.

You can do it for 50% on the 9th...
Yeah we were already suggesting to do that before spending money on making the bike pretty again. Hope to see him out at the track soon.

the 9th will be tough. I can try to get off, I can get money for a track day but I dont have anything to trailer it up there and I wouldnt suggest myself riding alone up there especially for my first track day alone. I REALLY would love a track day though, I've been wanting to since I've got this bike.

I believe HalfFast group will be going that day and we got space in a trailer to get you there.

Your leather rental will be free and so will boots if you don't have any.

Pretty much bring yourself, your bike, gas and snacks. But the trackday and you should be set up.

If you can get the day off, of course

How would it become an obsession if its already one and havent even gone yet if I can get it for like 60 bucks yeah. i think I could rent a uhaul trailer for the bike. but let me get my bike back together, I want to put a set of different tires on there, upper cowl, suspension done. I've already taken the upper cowl off. Its broken. and there are some things that are bent slightly nothing a little mallet tapping wont fix

zip ties for now buddy, it's just a matter of seat time to get the confidence to ride faster. meanwhile you save your wallet and your ego. btw, congratulations on wearing full leather man, that looks bad and it saved your limbs from grinding down

its a good idea, Thats what ima do as well. Im just going to replace minimum stuff. I'll leave all the fairings alone, only thing Im replacing is the brake reservoir tubing, upper cowl, suspension checked and looked over my mh. Fairings are banged up but whatever battle scars always have a good story behind him.
