Spoiler Guide

Just as a reminder everyone... racing season is upon us!! That means some of us will be privy to race results before others get to see the races. If you're going to post up a thread regarding a race or race outcome please remember the following:

1. Do not put the race result or anything that hints at the race result in your threat title!

2. Please put the word "SPOILER" in your thread if you want to talk about race results in that thread!

3. Please don't mention race results in any other threads unless a few days (4 or 5) have gone by.

The reason I mention this is just as a refresher, but also a reminder that the WSBK and WSS races are being held tomorrow and Sunday.... but Speed isn't airing them until Tuesday and I don't want to find out any results before I get home on Tuesday night and watch the races!

Thanks!

...so who is inviting us over for the viewing party if we don't want to go out to a bar/restaurant to watch?

Thanks, Steve.

I was a member of MotoGP.com last season. I hated that they put the results on their front page. I'm logging on to watch the race, dammit!

I read this about 10 mins ago, my apologies, it won't happen again.
I would ask a mod to remove my thread but I don't want to bump my post back to the top and I don't know how else to do it.
With all the technology and channels you have other there I'm stunned you don't get to watch it live.
Enjoy the season and sorry.

Don't sweat it Grinchy, it's not a big deal. The real issues come when folks actually name their threads "Rossi beats Stoner!!" or the title is "Check this out" and when you open it, there's the race results in the first sentence...

As long as in the title it says "spoiler" somewhere in it, nobody that doesn't want to know will not open it

Now, if you do it again, we'll have to flog your Limey azz!

If it is THAT important to you to not know the results, then I would stay off the internet. That way YOU control what you are informed of. Trying to rely on the masses to follow a "code" is not what I would rely on. But that's just me.

Carry on.

People need to reread this thread! STOP PUTTING THINGS THAT HAPPENED DURING THE RACE (including who crashed) in the TITLE OF THE THREAD!!!

Some of us have to watch the races a day later on our DVR due to previous plans, etc. I'd like to be able to browse through the "new posts" on MH without reading the topic of a thread and knowing exactly what happened during the race. Without watching the MotoGP AND WSBK race from this past weekend yet, I already know of names that went down during each race!
