XR100 front end swap & one for sale

Got a chance to test the CR85 front end on the XR100 and it works pretty good. Procycles in NY makes a conversion stem and bearings and did a good job with it. I lowered the forks 3 1/2" internally and I was relieved it worked ok and nothing came apart today.

If somebody wants to race this season I can sell the old one. It's a 1989 YZ80 33mm fork with a dual piston brake caliper, Excel 17" rim and Bridgestone super soft slick. The brake pads are brand new and it's all safety wired for TMGP tech inspection. The neck bearings and races are in good shape, so just bolt it on and go.

$200 is a fair deal I think. You'll spend more than that just building a wheel.

the one steve has posted in this thread looks like it is ready to go, just bolt up and ride... the one Hector is talking about will need a steering stem and bearings I think.
I believe the 88 has the same neck as current models..but double checking is not a bad idea.
