because they know riders won't fight back. they have no political voice so, like other minority groups, they have become the new group to pick on.

Motorcycling in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect.

The bill got passed, you can now get pulled over "for your own safety" in order for the LEO to verify your license, insurance, inspection, etc... Please, do the intelligent thing and exercise your rights. They do NOT have the right to search you, or your bike. You have the right to not say anything. Unless they're planning on arresting you, they have no right to keep you beyond the "safety" check.

Bad attitudes and being a smartass are second nature to some of us (myself included), but try not to chide them on. I'm sure most of them want to do it to the same extent that you want it done, but there are some people out there, cops included, who HATE and despise motorcycle riders simply because we're on two wheels. Use common sense, accept that they're within their rights (for now) to legally pull you over for no reason and ride on until we can get this recognised for the unconstitutional, profiling, violation of our rights that it is and repealed.

Except an Apache helicopter. An Apache helicopter has machine guns AND missiles. It is an unbelievably impressive complement of weaponry, an absolute death machine.

Your ignorance is admirable.
