Hey wait a minute, I def have to get first dibs on the handguards, I see you every workday. And I will be at cycle gear today but to get fork oil and air bleeders. Long story short the forks I went and picked up where missing the air bleed screw and the oil on the brake side (still got a of a deal with near new wheels, tires, and rear shock<which will be for sale). And now that we got at least 4 sm I know of in Clear Lake area we might have to organize our own ride.

Sounds good. I'll check the valves next week, hopefully I'll have the MCCT in by that time as well.

So were you the one in college station who owned it? And you were the second owner? I bought it from the Dallas cop.

Sounds like someone screwed you Kevin.

Also did you change the sprockets at all? I'm confused why he gave me a brand new 15 tooth front sprocket - isn't that the stock size? Another DRZ owner(on here) who I met last night said my rear sprocket didn't look stock. I guess I need to go count teeth

I am from CS. I bought a 15 tooth front but did not change it. The chain and sprockets are not stock that are on there, but I don't know the counts offhand. I want to say the front is a 14 and that's why I had the 15, but I can't be sure as it's been a while.

It should have a manual CCT I'm pretty sure... maybe I didn't put one on and I'm misremembering bikes. Did you check? I usually order those up first thing for my bikes. The more I remember all this stuff the more I miss owning a DRZ :(

Hm, you're right. I could've swore I replaced it but I guess not. They should be pretty cheap from APE or similar places.

15/41 sounds right. I never did a trackday with the bike but I bought the 15 for TWS (Texas World Speedway) and never ended up going. I have taken it to the hill country and it was the most fun I've ever had a on a bike. You can seriously burn sportbikes all day long in the twisties.

Ah perfect. Bike has one of the foam filters with an aftermarket hold rod, but the filter split. Switching to a normal K&N

Be careful with those K&Ns, they dont filter fine dust particles if ur gonna be doing some off roading.

Not planning on it, but I'll pick up an outerwear for it if I do. I've used the same setup on my truck in serious sand and dust.
