Zipper fell off A* leather jacket

I have a leather alpine stars jacket i bought last year (gp-1). Tonight i zipped up the coat and it came open on the highway. I attempted to unzip it and the zipper fell off. I've tried to put it back on, but for the life of me it just wont work. Does anyone have any reccomendations? I paid a ton for this jacket and would like to continue to use it.

Thanks!

That or a local alterations place. Cost me about 25 dollars to replace a zipper. You would think though that you have a jacket that is supposed to protect a rider and the cheapest thing is the zipper.
Good luck.

I have an entire thread dedicated to A* quality and their zippers and velcro lead the way in "parts guaranteed to break."

Call up Astars. Mine broke too about a year ago. I sent it in, they replaced it, and every other zipper on the jacket for free and stronger zippers. Never had another problem. Turnaround was about 2 weeks but worth it

Mine came off in a wreck and I just googled how they're put together and fixed it with a pair of nippers. It's pretty simple once you figure out how it works, just tedious work.

I disagree with that. I've owned tons of alpinestars boots, gloves, suits etc and always have been satisfied.

Top notch work and no issues.

Never heard of any brand that hasn't had some type of issue....

So Slyder is the one to contact? I have a pair of First Gear textile pants where one of the teeth feel off so my fly has been open for a while. I'll give her a shout.

Maybe employee that you spoke with?

Fwiw, I bought a brand new silverado loaded out. 4th day owning it the radio went out. Chevrolet? company?

happens. Doesn't make the brand a "bad" company.

Did they fix it?

Regional rep told me TO MY FACE "too bad", then turned around and walked away from me.

Call up A* and send it in to be repaired - they replaced the zip on one of my boots for free even though I told them it was broken because of a crash.

It's worth it if you don't want to buy another one

She's off Barker Cypress and W. Little York

Or give it to her at the MSRH this Sunday
