but the speed triple has only 675 cc, comparing a 675 vs a 1000 cc would be unfair.

Triumph should offer an 800 Street Triple, like MV Augusta does. Triumph already has the 800cc engine.

Wonder what they would call it... Streep Triple?

Just watched the video. It pretty much applies to the 1098 vs Speed R. they stopped making the 1098 now (sad).

Nice review, thanks for posting.

I never really considered the 848 because of price. Maybe one day I'll get a real job and get a triumph for commuting and Duc for weekends.

Cost and CC wise, a Monster vs Street triple is the usual comparison... but that's been beat to death and it always comes out to them being two completely diff bikes engine/manners wise.
