he was with another group. Went over the solid white line on the worse/best turn and lost traction on gravel, he said his back hurt but he could move his arms and legs.

Another example of someone riding above their own abilities

We were at the gas station taking a break when their group pulled in to get gas, one of their guys came over and asked if they could ride with us, i am so glad i said NO knowing that they were not experienced and maybe someone from their grup would get hurt trying to keep up with us. We made sure the ambulance was on the way before taking off to BW3 for lunch.

Hope the rider is not too much in pain....
B.O.R.C riding sounds like fun but in reality it takes years of riding and a good amount of experience at those crazy speeds.......the bike can always be replaced anyway.

Yeah, I dont know if he's that young, I know he is married, so the first call went to his wife. I stayed and gave the medics his assessment of his condition, I used to be a Paramedic many many moons ago. So he will be fine, he had full coverage on his bike, so he will more than likely get another bike if the Mrs approves .. I believe he had a case of eye fixaction, with a combination of an OH MOMMENT. But he will be just fine.

With a large group like today there is always a chance for something to go wrong, i am glad we split into 2 groups in an effort to minimize any potential accidents, at the end of the day making it home in one piece is what matters the most.
