CS Motorcycle death *UPDATE*

Here is the update of the story.
Looks like the cage driver turned in front of the bike.
The worst part is that the guys buddy was right behind him and held his dying friend in his arms.

This broad should spend 10 years in the pen for taking a life. Period. But of course her daddy will hire a lawyer and she wont so much as get a suspension of her license.

I AM SO F*GGIN MAD RIGHT NOW IM ABOUT TO HAVE TO LEAVE WORK.

anyway, heres the link:

I'll let ya'll know what happens(if anything).

Us Aggies will give him a proper send off and more than likely about 2 or 3 thousand of us will get together and play Taps for him on the 1st Tuesday of next month.

So sad. Poor kid. I hope the friend following him is ok too. I can only imagine that would be pretty disturbing. RIP

No doubt. That would be horrible and unforgetable. Stupid chick. That is one of the scariest parts of riding wondering if some idiot in a cage is going to turn left in front of ya. I think the ama should by commercials stating if you see a bike coming dont' turn left until he/she is safely passed. I point and shake my head no at drivers fixing to turn left as I approach all the time. I don't know if it helps but it makes me feel better for trying to warn them.

I was scratching my head on that too. I wonder what the speed limit was on that section of road.

Thats what Im curious about. I rode right by after they sent the ambulance away. I posted another thread about this that has a link with news footage. Its shows the SUV up on its side. Im anxious to get the crash investigation info. I think she must have overcorrected or swerved real hard or something. Cause it looked like a little bike(ninja250 maybe, maybe an SV) and i dont know how it could knock the suv over, even if he was haulin'.
Even then, the line of sight the suv driver would have had is very clear and gives the driver a view at least 1/2 a mile down the road.

The road is Business 6, or Texas Ave. Its the main road that runs north/south through bryan/college station.
That section was 3 lanes each direction with a median containing turn lanes.
40 mph limit.
The rider was going north, so there was a stoplight about 1/8 mile behind him.
and again, very clear line of sight for both parties.

I looked on the map and francis a texas ave areright in a low speed area. Very dense traffic there. He had to be hauling for him to knock over a vehicle. I feel for the family but you wouldn't catch me going that fast down...lets say westheimer. Cars have to see you to avoid you.

This road is a high traffic area during the day, but at the time of the accident it was not very busy.
I cant think of a good similarity in houston, but the conditions werent too bad at the time of accident.

So at that time of night in CS you can go 90 and be ok?

no, not 90.
but if he were going 50 or 55 he wouldnt not have been Evel Knievel.
moto cops like to run up and down this road at 55 during the day.
