Bike(s):

'09 R6 (sold)
'07 V-Star 1100 Custom (sold)

Welcome.

Glad to hear you have your gear, might want to add some chin guards, fairly inexpensive. Getting a pair of boots is also a good idea. I have a pair of A*boots which are pretty comfy.

Also, nice bike choice. Ride within your means.

Have fun.

I meant knee guards. Lol. I have a habit of calling them chin guards, maybe from my soccer days, who knows. Regardless, a good investment.

This is a video of a faster guy taking a lap around the track. Its a lot of fun, they split it off into 3 groups basically. You can go to https://www.ridesmart.info/secure/cart.php?gid=115 to learn more and register asap. You will learn to handle your bike better and possibly become a track addict like some of us. If you need any other help or questions feel free to PM me My first track day I was little nervous but with the help of some of the guys here on MH, a lot of that stress cleared up. Once you go through your first track day, everything just gets easier and easier throughout the day and especially the next time you go

Welp officially legal as of friday. Pasadena dmv wasn't to bad of a wait this time around, maybe a hour and a half total. Test was pretty basic but had to choose the best/safest answer type thing.

Also took the bike to the kemah meet this weekend. Not many bikes there maybe four and none of the others were sports bikes. Quite a few people checked it out though. Even got asked who made Triumphs lol.
