Always wear in-ear buds or plugs. Don't know how anyone can stand wind noise.

+1 for earplugs. Makes for a much better ride, and I don't shout at people (unless they need it ).

Howard Leight pow pressure green. You can get a pack of 200 to your door for about $25 bucks.

I prefer the ones with a cord, unless I am sleeping with them in.

BUT I STILL CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE RINGNG IN MY EARS

J/K. Seriously though, I lost enough hearing back when I used to play with car stereo and rode without earplugs years ago. I'd like to keep what I got left.

I wear Etymotic Noise Isolating earphones plugged into a MP3 player. I know, I know, but I suffer from severe tinnitus, so I'm screwed all the way around.

No plugs......all I hear is wind, very loudly that's destroying my hearing further.

Earplugs......all I hear is minimal wind and loud ringing...which makes the riding annoying.

Noise Isolating Headphones
Playing music.
........................Music with a slight ringing. Which is much more relaxing than earplugs, alone.

I can still hear car horns and other noise, as the earphones block just certain ranges of noise. They were expensive, but worth it....I think it also makes me a more vigilant rider.
