Not that. I think castration is too severe a punishment

According to TLC (which I'm sure is Ulrich's favorite group) a "Scrub" is a "guy that can't get no lo e from me(ulrich), sitting in the passenger side of his best friend's ride.
Trying to holler at me"

Seems fitting why Ulrich isn't giving him any love.

Consider yourself lucky for not being drunk when he pulled you over; as you had stated you left Sherlocks. Not sure if you had been drinking or not. You would have really been in a world of hurt! Your predicement would have been alot easier to deal with if you had your class M endorsement, so that should be priority #1. We have all been popped for speeding and have all dealt with it differently. My advice would be to call a traffic attorney and let them handle it for you. Like others have stated; if you ride a bike and you mess up you have to pay, it's that simple! Use this as a learning experience for next time.

Good advice. Since I'm already at the $500 mark with my fines, getting a lawyer at this point seems to be the common advice I've been getting. And no, I wasn't drinking. Just hanging with friends for a bit before heading home for the night.

Good deal on the no drinking part; because you should never operate a motorcyle while intoxicated! Your instructor will hammer this point home during your moto safety class. Riding requires all of your attention and skills so just try to avoid it.

Has it been mentioned that defensive driving is only applicable for tickets for less than 20mph over?

I didn't want to read the entire sword fight.
