Check out the Kawasaki Z1000....naked upright liter bike...

Yeah I actually owned it for a short time. It didn't have the pull in low rpms like a honda or suzuki 600cc at all. top end didn't seem that great either. it sounded like it was working hard though. lol

yeah looking at z1000 also. I just really like the look of the 2011 - 2012 cb1000r better. i know the look almost exactly like each other haha but something about the honda catches my eye much more. or maybe just cause I don't really like kawasaki lol

However, I like the fact

You can find a later model for your price point. Lots of them sold, so parts and farkles are plenty.
Just wait a few months and volfy will sale you his vfr.

Meet em in the middle.... Go with an M109R! I SWORE I'd never ride anything other than a sport bike, but one thing led to another and I added a 109 to the stable in addition to my CBR1000RR. I sold the CBR after a few months and put the money into the 109. The CBR was just taking up space and not getting ridden! The M109 is a great happy medium and there isn't another cruiser that will touch it!

wow. I'm not sure if I personally could handle giving up a cbr 1000 for a M109r. But then again i've never ridden a 109 before. I bet its a of a ride if you picked it over your cbr though!

And it never fails.... Seems like at least one douche always finds his way to each thread. Don't you have a really masculine Trek road bike you ride around on? I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you can catch HIV riding around with those cute spandex road bike pants on. Just sayin...

And you shrinks and grow if you ride a scooter.

Most of these rib jabs meant no harm. Don't take them personal. I ride all sorts of bikes, had an S83 earlier, and will probably get a cruiser sooner or later. I do like the M109 and M90. I rode power cruisers in the late 80s and wish there are more of them now.

MH is mostly a sport bike forum.
