Circuit of the Americas MOTO GP

So finally, there's a MotoGP track near me(kinda) in Austin, TX, USA it's the Circuit of Americas and this is its first year and I really want to go to the MOTO GP race/event there, I can actually afford the tickets and a hotel night.

The problem I'm having is, this would be the first MOTOGP event I've ever been to and I don't know what to expect and I don't have anyone to go with.

So has anyone been to a MOTO GP race? I know every track is going to be different but any idea what I could expect?

Book your room now.... they are selling out quick.

I plan on camping at a buddy's ranch, walking distance from the track.

Sun glasses, lawn chair, maybe some shade, lots of water and your camera.

See ya there.

You don't NEED an on site parking pass, but it'll make life that weekend a LOT easier. I went to the F1 race back in November, and people were saying the buses were handled very well, but walking out to leave the race all I saw were huge lines. I'll have a parking pass for this weekends Grand Am race as well.
