best way to sup up a 07' zx-6

What is the best way to add maximum horsepower without adding major components to the engine? then from there, what would be the small steps to add horsepower? I already added a full system Yoshimura Ride Smart-5, with K&N air filter , pc3, and two wire mod. is there anything else I can do other than major work? For now anyway....

sprockets. Don't technically add horsepower, but make an enormous difference.

I had mine +2 rear and it felt great but wasnt too buzzy. -1 front +2 rear will make it feel like 25% more power but have you at 8k rpms on the hwy

Sprocket change is a good way to get some more acceleration without modifying the engine. I had a -1 front sprocket on my 07 ZX-6R and enjoyed the difference, it's not quite as crazy as -1/+2 plus I was able to keep the stock chain on there.

You'll likely want to get a speedohealer with gearing changes as your speed readings will be off.

Thumbs up

advance youre ignition 4 positive, high performance wheel bearing, lighter tires such as pures or 2ct, just stay 2+ on rear you dont wanna be afraid of wheelie off line, tsubaki sigma is a good race chain, put a manual timing chain tensioner on it(ZXZONE.com) STAY AWAY FROM STEALTH SPROCKET THEYRE HEAVY use AFAM aluminium alloy. add GALFER or HEL break lines and use EBC HH rated pads with motul brake fluid and some racing rear sets those stock ones are gay plus get double bubble windscreen and steering stabilizer

just worry about adancing your ignition that makes a difference i had those crappy s20 tires then i switched to 2ct which are like 2lbs lighter and my rpms dropped on highway. there is hp at crank and hp at wheel when you lighten your rotating mass you fet more useable hp at wheel

get a custom map made for your bike (dyno tune), that's another way to get maximum performance. just putting in one of those pre-made maps in sometimes doesn't even get your bike close to where it needs to be.

if you're in the northside of town bring it by. we have a dyno spot we use that give us great rates (which we pass onto our customers).

thanks!
