You got one for sale? Unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky as you to ride every bike out there and know how they perform. I can say though, I was on a fiddy before you were even born, and had my first street bike while you hitting puberty. Still, I wish I could be you!!!:notworthy

The only real question I've asked here was whether the 750 felt closer to the 600 or the 1000. I then added that I'd be appreciative of any other info people were willing to provide. I'm not trying to start here, but it sure seems like you are.

Coming from a 929 the 750 will keep you entertained the front easily raises in second with my fat on it

if you want to wheelie with the throttle get the litre bike. The thing is sweet.

Thanks! The 929 was claimed by Honda to be over 150 hp and weighs in around 375 lbs. I've found a lot of info that indicates that the numbers were inflated. If I can find a good deal, it seems like the 750 won't be a disappointment.

The 2005 Gsx-r1000 I was interested in sold, but I think I'm gonna go with whatever bike I can find the better deal on. If it were only possible to test ride all the bikes and make a decision from there! It's hard to do research on them with all the biased opinions.

I've owned an 01 gixx 1k,04 600,04 750,ridden each on the street & raced/trackdayed all three. If I were to pick a street bike-it would be the 1k-if you could excercise some restraint.Trackdays, the 600 would be a good bike & once comfortable on that-the 750.The 750 does feel more like the 600-but a little harder to flick side to side & the extra midrange is really nice
