garage space?

hey all

im a houston apartment dweller in need of some garage space for short term use to do some work on my track bike. im thinking 1 month, maybe 2. id pretty much be working on weekends only. i have my own tools and will keep things clean as possible. can help with your project too if you need it.

i have money to pay for the space, or if you have any ideas of alternative solutions id love to hear them.

thanks.

Try a storage unit. You can come and go as you please.

Many storage places has those 1/2 stalls that are just about perfect to fit a bike. Bought a bike from a guy that used one. 24hr surveilance cams and all. I took a bit too long to load the bike on my trailer after the seller left, so by the time I tried to get out of the gate, the code seller gave me already expired. Front office called the seller, and evidently he already called in to terminate the rental, thinking I must have left by then. That's pretty good security IMO.

You're not supposed to, but the odds of them actually saying anything are slim and none.

I wouldn't drop a bunch of oil and fluid everywhere, but the one I had off Heights Blvd/Washington was 24hr access with a live-in tenant and I changed plastics, chains, clip-ons, wheels, all kinds of stuff. Never said anything, but I wasn't grinding or welding either.

1. Depends on the lease agreement you sign
2. As long as you're not doing any damage to the property they could probably give a anyway
