ZX10R testing confirmed

I just returned from Mexico, and I can 100% verify the effectiveness of the wire clip mod on the ZX10 ECU.

The extra HP in the top end is VERY noticeable and the fuel cutoff on decel makes the bike easier to ride. Getting rid of that "snatchy feeling" when rolling off and on the throttle is worth its weight in gold.

The Extra HP is real nice as well!

Was a little cool in Mexico.
Temp never broke 151F on my motor.

Bike pulls wicked hard in the last third of the RPM range.
This is the first bike Ive owned that I find difficult to Redline and gear above 2nd.
Simply going too fast too quick for most Mexican streets!

Stock Exhaust yes.
I have my eyes on a Brocks Alien Head exhaust. Gonna have to wait a bit after the wheels $$$.

Throttle mod is next up. Gary has the perfect mod for that and only costs like 25.00.

In order:

1. ECU Wire mod- done
2. Throttle mod- next up to be done
3. Add slip on....no advantage to a full exhaust. Stock header is well designed- 5hp gained on top
4. Maybe ecu flash- 375.00 yields one more hp than wire cut but allows for on the fly map and Traction control changes/raised rev limit as well
5. If ECU flash, complete package with PC5- one more HP but optimized fuel/air ratios for better drivability

So what you are saying is that you took the fastest Japanese liter bike and made it faster! What slip on were you thinking about going with?

I guarantee you will gain more then 5hp with a Brocks alien head system..... There is ALWAYS room to improve on factory header designs. I bet you gain 8-10hp with a Brocks full system, especially with a proper remap.

That would be first on my hit list...

Sounds like a nasty bike... All this hot new iron coming out has me jonesing... I just have too much money tied up in cars to pick up a new bike....
