Tiiimmmmy Chason OHR crash update *** gross pics inside***

Most of you have heard by now (from the MotoGP gear thread) that CMRA Expert #62 Tim Chason went down at the hill during Sat. afternoon practice. He was wide open in 4th gear on his Motard when all broke loose and down the track he sides and at some point starts to cartwheel end over end. Medics take him to the hospital. They clean it,dress it and give the script for pain killers. He calls me Sat night to see if I am still heading up to the hill and says he needs my help putting the Motard back together for sundays races (at this time I was not knowing of the ground down digit). I say sure I can fix the Tard. Well sunday morning I get to the track and get to see this..........

******warning these are graphic*********

As you can see the Moto GP gloves sucked major D!CK !!
His Moto GP suit blew a seam in the right knee as well and screwed up his right knee too. Sorry no pics of that. Both suit and gloves are cow hide not Kangaroo.Anyway... He was bent on riding Sunday too, so I fixed the bike, made some modifications to a new glove and sent him out for one lap in each of his three races on Sunday. Through all the pain of exposed nerves, raw meat, and a bone sticking out......He still rode!:notworthy
I talked to him this afternoon.....he had surgery this morning and he is back at home. They cut off some of the finger bone, trimmed up some of the meat hanging off and folded the rest over the tip and stitched it up. Oh yeah, and the best part........they gave him a local and he watch the whole thing.

He asked me to post up and say thanks to all that expresed concerns. And he says the he will most likely make the race at NPR.

Tell Tim I said "HI" and I hope he's feeling a little better, he might pick up some speed now that he's lost a little weight?:notworthy
If he needs a hand with anything just holler. Be happy to help out.
