If a company is contracted to produce a design, they DO NOT have the right to use that design knowledge to produce their "own" later. The examples you gave are not what concern me or most others. The FACT that Chinese manufactures will contract, then later steal the design does.

Industrial espionage happens everywhere, copying a prototype and making improvements and modifications are part of the game which at the end, the consumers will most likely to benefit from this..... anyone remembers the Xerox vs Microsoft incident? or the more recent Facebook origins?

here is a test ride of a CF Moto 250cc from Chile to Argentina. The rider had very positive comments on its reliability and performance, it never overheated during the whole trip.
