Brake light problem

I have a little issue. My brake light won't come on when I use the front lever but rear brake works fine. Any suggestions on what I can try?

What kind of bike? Try disconnecting the terminals at the switch and touch them together or just jump it with a wire....

Check to see if the lil plunger is moving freely on the switch

Start with the simple ....there is a microswitch underneath the front master cylinder....check the connections. Check the lil plunger is moving in and out....then just jump the switch with a piece of wire or touching the terminals together...if the light works then the switch is bad...if not u need to check the connection under the tank...
