Angry punks swerve at you on the road smh

this is like the 3rd time in over 20 yrs this has happened.

was on our neighborhood rd leaving and a little car does a little swerve at me. he's headed in the oposite direction.
i did a quick u, they're stopping at the stop sign. surprisingly he rolled down the window. little punk about 17. has a passenger smaller and younger.
he evidently didn't wanna fight.

ever happened to you?

Yes, sometimes i follow til parked and slash tires, for this and other similarly threatening situations... but over that one i prob wouldve dragged him out of the window or head butted him (w/ helmet on)

Had a kid toss a hand full of change at me while going the opposite direction.
Rear wheel lock and u-turn. Chased his to a KFC, and had him by the neck when an Illinois Trooper pulled up. He saw me flip around and followed.
I explained the situation and he gave the kid a hard time, along with a citation or two

that woulda been ideal but there's a median on the drivers side at the stop sign and i was forced to pull up on the passenger side.
besides i can't go back to jail. i'll never get my carry permit back if i did

all /ragequit'ing aside, in these situations its good to have a planned scenario (i treat all vehicles as if they're out to harm me anyways) in your head to execute.

Sounds like you did. and were able to avoid some jack and keep yourself safe.

What people dont understand is that, had you inferred that he was making a turn without using a blinker, you could've swerved into his lane thinking you were avoiding him, then the person prob wouldnt've known what to do next and just plowed u down. very sad that people do things like this much less the "everyday," typical, and blatant disregard for not only motorcycle but fellow driving human safety on the roads.

i really wonder how people drive with babies/kids in the car, drivers are ruthless and really must believe that every one is in a big "safety mobile" that is indestructable and cannot be harmed. That or they must think robots are driving and they're the last human being left on the planet so who cares if they wreck into anything as long as they're safe (this one sounds more plausible)

Sometime, it is wiser to avoid bullshit like this and move on. These little punks these days, you don't know what they can do. Many of them find a way to figure out their daddy's gun safe combination, and do stupid things with it.
There is old Asian saying. "Avoid stepping on dog's dump not because you are afraid of it, but because it stinks".
Just my 2 cents!

i think it is best to just blow it off ..... the problem with kids is that they are just kids and often do not mean any real harm, they just think it is funny, they do not realize the harm that their stupidity can cause...and if they are just kids and you touch them, you have more problems...

I disagree with blowing it off because they are "just kids" or just stupid or just whatever; if I ignore it maybe he does it again...& again...& then one day he finally hurts someone...like my kid riding his bike down the street. There is a saying that "that will meet someone one day that doesn't put up with his " (Faulkner, I think). I would like to think that there are a lot of people that won't put up with stupid .
