i rarely go ride, but i try my hardest to hit those long cruises with ya'll - and yes, i have a blast riding with the BORC and SDRC even though my V-Twin is pullin up from the back
Speed will come gradually, when i started riding back roads i was the slowest rider in our group for a long time, then i gradually started to pick up speed with time and now i dont even ride fast anymore, most of the times i am just chilling in the back.

I like my bike. I loved my 954. Gonna do some things to my CBR this year to make me love it.

even if my bike was "one of the faster" bikes, i still think i'd ride in the back.

i guess the only time i wished it was fast, is when Craig or Bevo or Queenmaraka or anyone in the BORC makes me look like i'm standing still from 70+ lol.

it's ok, i know my bike's capabilities and i'm old enough to accept it.

if i would have started riding back when i was 24 or 25, i probably wouldn't be here today.....

because the BORC got bored of being 2 miles ahead of everyone, so they stopped on the side of the road to wait for the turtles lol.

i think ya'll literally had time to stop, make some sandwiches, plant a tree on 362 and wait for us to cruise on by

I love my 929rr and I just love riding honestly. if i had the extra cash though I would def pick up a 1000rr or if i had some EXTRA cash then I would probably look into a nice/newer ducati. I never really blame my bike for performance, I never feel that my bike is too slow if anything I'd say its the rider.
