Don't mean to jack your thread; but I have been looking for a new lid and went into 2-Wheel toys this past weekend and looked at the HJC RPS-10. Can get into one for under $350 bucks. I currently have an older Shoie RF1100 and an AGV Stealth Dragon. The Shoei is over 5 years old and the AGV is British certified; whatever the that means. The AGV fits a little tight! Are HJC helmets ? I tried it on and it fit really well. I don't mind dropping $600 on a new helmet; but would rather not if the HJC would work.

All good homie.

Helmets brands fit everyone different (being people's heads are different) so its best to try several on and see what you personally like best.

I've rocked shoei, arai, and agv. With that being said, agv fit me the best and IMO looked the best "agv gp-tech".

Give House of paint designs a call "there a sponsor" and get a quote from them. They have the best prices and great customer service. Have bought several lids from them

They all have to meet the same standard to be sold in the US.
Some helmets meet the CE (European) certification, which is stricter but doesn't necessarily result in a superior helmet.
Mainly the differences between helmets of different prices are things like, fit and finish, comfort, graphics, venting, noise levels and durability of liner materials.
Most of which is not detectable while standing in the store
Safety is not really the issue.

Thanks man, yeah my AGV fits better too and yeah looks better; but after a few hours my ears start hurting, I guess Italian stuff runs smaller. Thanks for the tip on HOP. I didn't know they sold gear as well. 2-Wheel toys is out there; but worth the drive.

No problem on the tip homie, always trying to help members find/get better deals.

Yes, Hopd SELLS gear!

Also, what size agv do you have? I wear a md and you can try mine and see how it fits....

I have a small- head and no fur on top so my head size is a 6 7/8; which on the Shoei is fine; but on the AGV I should have gotten a medium. The HJC I tried on was a medium. Appreciate it man.
