I think I've only had 2 out of 7 or so cops check my inspection sticker. Only had a couple that checked my insurance, too.

my inspection sticker bracket with my temp tag flew off my new bike.

i wasn't worried cause i thought i get another inspection sticker for the corner of the plate after the real tags come in...now i see that's not how it is. do you think the dealer is going to give me another inspection sticker for freewhen my plates come in or do you think im gonna have to buy a new one :d

Windex will not hurt your windscreen. It will not cut the adhesive either though. Alcohol is a solvent and its pushing it. I do know for sure that fingernail polish remover AKA Acetone will destroy a windscreen. Try the WD 40 on the windscreen I have used it on the plastic screen before with no ill effects

...and that is why my school sticker was put on a peice of magnet, then cut out. It gets put on the bike for school days, and stuck to the toolbox/shelf the rest of the time. I didn't want to deal with it on paint, plastic, or anything.

Being a girl, I will offer up the solution - eye makeup remover. It will not hurt your windshield, but it will get the goo off. I have used it for medical tape residue, as well. It's MAGIC!

You're welcome.
