Unhappy Inspection Sticker Fell Off.....

While washing my bike on Christmas, the inspection sticker came off. The adhesive is completely gone on the back of the sticker and it won't stick back on

As of right now I just put it in the space under my seat with my EZ Tag.

Any suggestions as to what I should do?

Pretty sure I'm going to get pulled over for it one day... as long as I have it on me I'm okay...right?

just leave it under your seat or super glue that back on. Plus they hardly ever check the sticker.

as cheap as they are I would just replace.

I've done what you are going to do with putting it under the seat. It may work for HPD but I got popped in city of montgomery and it didn't work out so well. I spent WAYYY more time, and money in that hole then I should have.

I tape over mine with clear packing tape. Go completely around the sticker. I have one of those tag holders that has a spot on the bottom for the inspection sticker.

really, arrested for inspection? I heard that one was just a "fix it" ticket, but the registration was a impound your bike offense.

Oh yeah, it's that thing that keeps you from getting $50 tickets.

But at my rate of 1 ticket for no inspection per 10 years, with an average of 5 street bikes in the garage, I save about $500 or so not inspecting. It's an educated sort of law breaking. Insurance..always. Class M, definitely. Registration and inspection...FTP.

Mine was 3+ months out and cost me $135. Given, it was a wheelie that got me pulled over

Do you keep your bikes registration current? LOL

I'm lazy about car inspections, but bike stickers gives me another excuse to go visit the candy store. "Honey, sorry... can't go with you and the kids this morning, gotta get the bike inspected, you know."

They can look all they want... it's legal

If it's under the seat... it's illegal. Not displayed at the back of the vehicle. If nothing else, it gives them a reason to pull you over at any time they want, even if they do let you go.

For less than $15 bucks, it's kind of a toss up between tape and just getting a new one. Depends on how long the current one is good for I guess

Thanks guys for the input. I just got it in August....Idk I guess I'll go get a new one. I'm not a fan of ghettofying my bike. Just a personal preference I was more or less just seeing if it was okay to have it under the seat but I guess not. Thanks for the input guys

How long have you had this bike? Those inspection stickers usually stick like there is no tomorrow. I don't see how it could just come off from washing your bike with soap and water. Just wondering if you just bought the bike and the sticker came with it.
