It's about 1200, maybe 2000 feet from the nearest water connection, and the extra water will just add more mud.

The only sections that need cleaning are one of the hard rights (10min with 3 people), and the start/finish which has been underwater for a few weeks now. That will take longer. The simplest, and fastest way to clean it so far has been to just scrape it with some flat bladed shovels, and sweep it with brooms and a blower. We did the entire track with about 15 people in under . . . . what was it, 2.5-3 hours? That was the first time it had been cleaned in almost 7 years.

I will be out there Sunday. May put my motard wheels on but not too sure. Think I did fine on the knobbies on the track but sure wore the rear down sliding around the corners.

Is anyone interested in joining a cleanup crew next weekend to scrape the mud off the kart ring? I'll see if I can borrow Mike's mower again so we can level out the infield and map up some new tracks, and maybe a new paddock. There's been mention of trying to get a flat course running parallel to and just inside of the ring to practice with flat tracking and to get some cool side view vids of the hot laps yall are running. With the rollers on the north side of the infield, we can even build an MX track, too. Post up if you're game.
I'm down to help cleanup...I've been dying to check this place out after reading some of the threads. I'm free Saturday. It would be just me and my DRZ. What time should I show up?

Quick question, is it going to be open to jeeps/trucks? I have a buddy that wants to come out.

I think he meant specifically... has it dried out enough for trucks/jeeps to be allowed? last week or two you said only bikes cause the ground would get torn up too much by trucks.
Not whether you normally allow them.

Oh alright. Sorry bud - I've been out in the sticks all weekend without signal. Yes, the park is dry enough for trucks again.

I had a blast... I was on the White Banshee / <smaller> tan Jeep on sunday.
It was perfect on the banshee.
I took the jeep out for a little while (not interested in mud... but there is some to play in).. only found a few places that 4wd was NEEDED. I'll post the pics later.
I also GoPro-ed quite a bit on the banshee.... so you can see what all is out there.
