I'm gonna be there this Sunday for the maiden voyage of the new suspension on my Suburban with some moto buddies. I may ride on two wheels for a bit but I'll probably be crawlin around for most of the day. Come say hi!

Hey Blake! We passed by three palms last weekend comin back from Dirt Wars and I wanted to stop by to see if you were there. It's been nice weather for track riding. I'm working pretty closely with Mike the groundskeeper and some investors. Expect some big news to come out of there by the end of next month. I have a FAQ posted at the beginning of this thread, check it out. It's mostly nice, gentle trails. There's a CORR style truck jump that you could prolly get some air off of but no landing ramp that far out. We're in the works of building an mx style mini course so stay tuned.

My suburban is an 84 with a 454, 350, 208, D70HD with welded 4.10s, and a D60DRW front with open 4.10s, a 6" shackle flip lift with 63" rear springs and 56" front springs, all turning HMMV beadlock wheels and 37" Goodyear milspec tires and magnesium run flats. It's all black and the plate says MudBus. You can't miss it.

Sweet sounds like I nice ride. Built somewhat like my 82
6.2 Diesel/sm465/doubler. One tons, 4.88 gears with detroits. 52" springs up front 56" in rear. 38.5 SX's on beadlocks.

Need to replace my 14 bolt. Bent the out of the passenger side axle tube last time out. Also need to build a trans tunnel and reroute my exhaust exit. Currently it creates a vacuum and smogs you out in the cab. It will be done soon.

Where in Katy are you located?

I have no clue. Guess I am hard on them. Think this is either # 4 or 5. Have had spun axle tubes, bearings go out and destroy the spindle, cracked housing "shaved the bottom to much" cant remember the other reasons. Just know It has been many because I now have a good collection of spare axle shafts for it. lol

May try and start working on swapping everything to the new housing tonight.

I live off of Franz & Tamworth two streets past Brookshire Brothers in Katy.

Holy dude, that is some serious damage. Are you just not changing your fluids after mud runs, and jumpin onto rock piles? That's carnage. Do you know Eric at Lonestar Ring and Pinion? You might want to get with him if you go thru parts that fast.

Yeah I have known him for 10+ years. I usually find it cheaper to source my parts elsewhere. He is usually asking retarded high prices for things I can order online. Was never a gear oil issue. just bad luck with the axles I have been using. End up swapping my current gear set to every axle I have used. Unfortunately haven't had the chance to take it out in the rock.

Is this place open every weekend? I'm a novice rider from the Katy/Brookshire area and would gladly contribute hard labor toward the cause. I ride a 250f and would love a low pressure place to ride. ~Josh~
