You can't deny the cultural imagery of the man on the motorcycle being confident, sexy etc. It goes back at least 60 years with people like James Dean, Marlon Brando, Clark Gable, Clint Eastwood, Buddy Holly, Steve McQueen, and many others (Tom Cruise in the Top Gun days for example) being pictured on motorcycles and obviously all being desirable men. We all know that a on a bike is still a though. On the other hand, just try and find the long history of male symbols on scooters in this country.

And FFS wrap your tool because if a chick is that easy it's probably dirty.

I, myself, prefer the long, fast country roads and wouldn't look twice at a man on a scooter.

You are all assuming that women are so shallow that they would choose to be with a man depending on what he rides/drives - that's not a woman, that's a child. She'll be fun to ride, but then let her go, because you don't want a girl like that.
Too bad im not single..

Of course. And during a recent lunch I asked Jasmine this question. The answer was obvious and it was not a scooter.

there are a few factors to consider......

if in Asia or Taiwan and two girls are talking about some boy they just met and they happen to ask "what does he drive?" and the answer was "a scooter"..... the reaction would be pretty normal because most people choose to ride scooters to beat the traffic and parking spots.

if in America two girls talk about a guy they just met and the same question comes up and the same answer was given.... the reaction would be different among 3 different demographics. 1) Teens younger than 21 would probably be cool about it because they are young and they can be content just to be out hanging out, they could care less about what comes to pick her up...2 wheels, 3 wheels, 4 wheels etc. 2) Women in their early 20's to mid 30's would react the opposite way because most at this age are career minded and have seen the world, met a few broke people and met a few rich people, so their target is to look for someone that would in the middle or in the upper side of the two extremes. Unlike a teenage girl, women in this age range do know about cars and bikes, and they make a direct correlation between one person's success with what he drives or rides in this case, so as a result women in this age group do not see a person riding a scooter as their best match when choosing someone to date and potentially get serious into a relationship. 3) The third group of women are the ones that are divorced..... divorced women that are out there to have fun do not care too much about what a guy drives or rides simply because they are not looking for anything serious, they could care less about a guy's career status or how rich he is simply because they probably got a good deal from the divorce and can manage their finances on their own without having to look for a suitable candidate to foot the bills of her lifestyle.

So, my answer is Yes and No depending on location and demographics.

Worthwhile women/girls don't care one way or the other. if your girlfriend likes you because the metal you rode in on, you need another girlfriend.
